FAQ'sQ. What are the requirements for being involved?A. A willing heart and a helping hand! There are no direct requirements for serving communities both locally and/or internationally. God has called us all to reach out to those in need and only requires our participation!
Q. Do I have to be a member of Celebration Church to participate in local or global outreaches?A. We do not require membership to participate. Note: Trips that have limited space will be given to Celebration Church members first.Q. When do local IMPACT outreaches take place?A. We offer both weekly and seasonal opportunities to participate. Our Jax Beach Homeless team and Eugene Butler Mentors serve weekly. Seasonal work and play days with our partner organizations are scheduled throughout the year.Q. Do I need a passport for a short term mission trip?A. Yes every trip outside of the U.S. will require a passport which takes anywhere from 6-12 weeks to obtain. (see "Get Involved" tab for more info)Q. How much are the trips?A. Unfortunately due to the time of the year, gas prices and other changing factors we can't give an exact amount until we establish the full team and arrange the purchase of airline tickets. We do try to make every trip as affordable as possible and provide a wide range of options to help. We can give you an estimated amount for any trip you are interested in but prices will be subject to change.Q. How do I pay for a mission trip?A. We recommend sending out support letters to friends, relatives, coworkers, etc. to raise funds along with other creative ideas such as: garage sales, neighborhood fundraisers, business donations, etc. You may approach your team about doing fundraisers together, but we encourage you to start fundraising on your own as early as possible.
